Looking At Night One Of The Superstar Shakeup

From this WWE.com article, here are all the moves that were made on Night One of the Superstar Shakeup with some thoughts on each move from yours truly.

  1. Jinder Mahal--I like this move and enjoyed his match with and US Title loss to Jeff Hardy.

  2. Riott Squad--Another interesting move, and I'm interested to see which women move to SDL.

  3. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn--Not a huge fan of either guy to say the least, but more palatable as a tag team.

  4. Zack Ryder--Doesn't mean much to me, solid mid to lower card guy to have around.

  5. Breezango--Shocked the upset The Bar which was nice, I assume The Bar is moving.

  6. Natalya--She seems lovely, but is a channel-changer for me.

  7. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre--They've made Ziggler interesting with this pairing. Good work.

  8. Baron Corbin--I was much higher on him at one point. Made to look like a geek, but I hope this is an effective reboot for him.

  9. The Ascension--Tag depth. Their fine.

  10. Bobby Roode--Needs to turn. Nice spot as the mystery partner on the face team.

  11. Mojo Rawley--Probably deserves a bigger push. Not sure he's getting that.

  12. Mike Kanellis--Interested to see what type of push he gets. Glad he's gotten clean/healthy.

  13. Chad Gable--Him on Raw with Angle, and possibly Jordan is interesting dynamic.

  • The Miz--Franchise-level heel over on SDL especially if Daniel Bryan is staying. They can finally pay off the fantastic Talking Smack feud, and I hope Miz is WWE Champion sooner rather than later (sorry AJ).
That's it for now, let's see what Night Two brings, and I will do the same analysis here on Wednesday.
