WWE Women Will Make History At Crown Jewel

This news legitimately shocked me when I saw it first thing this morning.

There had been rumors/rumblings that WWE was pushing to have a women's match on one of these Saudi Arabia shows, but I never expected to see it so soon.

Natalya had the following to say on Twitter (@NatbyNature)...
The world will be watching. I am so incredibly proud to represent our women’s division tomorrow night at #WWECrownJewel. It’s time to bring your best, Lacey.

Lacey Evans also shared this sentiment...

This isn't the first time WWE women have made history either as Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss had a match in Abu Dhabi (which did require special attire as you will see in this video).

My assumption is that something similar will be worn by Natalya and Lacey Evans based on the reaction to "indecent" women that were inadvertently shown in an ad during a previous event in Saudi Arabia.

My main takeaway here is that if you're uncomfortable with the WWE/Saudi Arabia relationship this is at the very least a silver lining in it.  Does that mean your stance on these shows and this relationship should change? No, not at all, but it's at least something positive that has come from them.
