I went to the Toys R Us site, and poked around a bit, but the more interesting thing was looking up b8ta whose mission is "Retail designed for discovery."
All of this falls in line with what we've heard from Toys R Us as it relates to having more to DO at their new stores.
Also of note, here's where b8ta currently has stores. I wonder if this is one of those deals where initially TRU will bring their branding to those locations kind of like Geoffrey's Toy Box did to Kroger.
The other option I guess is that b8ta is partnering with Toys R Us to bring their approach to new Toys R Us stores. As we find out more, I'll be sure to pass it along.
We'll see how all this goes, but a world with Toys R Us is a better one.
