Roman Reigns: From Here To WrestleMania 35

The 'BRAUN's Path Forward' post did pretty well so I thought it was time to take a look at where I think WWE should go with Roman Reigns.

The two are closely related due to their feud, and where I think this should end up so consider this a companion piece.

As stated in the BRAUN piece, I would give BRAUN his big top title win at WrestleMania 35.  In a perfect world I think this should be over Roman Reigns.  It has been my position for a LONG time that BRAUN's first top title victory needs to come at Roman's expense.

Nothing BRAUN does otherwise will matter as much as him defeating Roman for the gold.  That said, I think Roman Reigns should absolutely hold the Universal Title until Mania 35 with BRAUN earning the title shot through the Royal Rumble or some other way.

What if they don't have Roman enter Mania 35 as champion?

If Roman is not entering WrestleMania 35 I think he needs to hold the belt until at least Royal Rumble 2019. I also believe that he should not be challenging for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 35.

In my world he either enters Mania 35 as champion or is doing something unrelated to that title. What exactly that is, I don't know.

I have zero connections, but as we sit today the rumored Rock v Roman match doesn't do much for me. Part of the reason for that is I'd rather see Roman get a Mania match against someone who isn't a part-timer. I'd like him to get another great singles match at Mania. He really hasn't had one since his first battle with Brock at WrestleMania 31 honestly.

I'm sure I will be fired up with whatever they have Roman Reigns doing at the big show, but that's how I'd handle him between now and then.
