NXT TakeOver: The End...of the Beginning

While I am not a consistent NXT TV viewer, I do try to watch all of the TakeOver specials and they rarely disappoint.  NXT TakeOver: The End was no different.

I fully intended to do a full post here covering the event, but it's Monday and I still haven't done it so instead I offer you my message board posts from the places I discuss wrestling.

This will give you some idea of what stood out on the show for me at least.

Really solid show last night and the crowd was on point unless you think their "Who are you?!" chant was directed at "Precious" Paul Ellering.
Wrestling With Words
Nia Jax SCREAMING at Asuka before being put down was a really cool moment BTW. I liked the whole dynamic of that match. My favorite match was probably The Revival v American Alpha though. Love both of those teams.

The Full Sail crowd has been the focus of some negative talk in the past, but they were great last night I thought. When I say that I am assuming the, "Who are you?!" chant was at Ellering's team and not "Precious" Paul himself.
I discussed it to some degree on Wrestling Classics, but there was nothing there that made for a good pull quote here.

As for the matches I didn't mention in those posts (I am sure there was more on Twitter), I didn't care that match for Samoa Joe v Finn Balor until the end.  Nakamura v Aries went from "fine" to "HOT DANG!" by the end of it.  Tye Dillinger and Andrade "Cien" Almas was entertaining.  Unless "Cien" is supposed to be a heel I don't really get putting him against someone that Full Sail is so fully behind.  Also that name needs work IMHO.

That's it for my rambling thoughts on NXT TakeOver: The End.
