It's the Little Things: Magnum TA at Starrcade '85

Watched the "I Quit" steel cage match at Starrcade 1985 the other night on the WWE Network.  Obviously, I have seen it before as it is one of my favorite wrestling matches ever.  It is not for everyone, but that match has just about everything I could ask for from a match.

The reason I mention this is now is that something caught my eye at the end of the match.  It was one of those little things I always talk about, but it was simple and it was great.

You can watch it here (although I highly recommend subscribing to the WWE Network) and the moment takes place just after the place I set as the start of the video.

What is it?  It is that moment right after Magnum gets his hand raised as the new United States Champion.  He doesn't linger in the ring and play to the crowd or anything like that.  He slings that belt over his should and hightails it out of there.

It is simple and it is perfect.  Watching then, I probably didn't even notice or think about it.  Looking back on it now compared to what we typically get today, it was a little thing done right.
