I have always been a big fan of Swagger and wish he they had really gotten behind him at some point. Even if it was as a member of tag team like when he and Cesaro teamed. By and large, he just seemed to be "there" even as World Champion.
I know he did himself no favors when he got popped for driving under the influence of marijuana during his big feud with Alberto Del Rio. It just seems to me that he could have been a much more valuable asset in WWE.
My gut reaction is that I hope he ends up in Japan. I could see him doing well there based on what little I know of Japanese wrestling.
It is too bad that he won't be able to take the name with him because "Jack Swagger" is a great wrestling name if you ask me. Anyhow, I ramble, but best of luck to him. Hope he goes on to big time success in the business outside of WWE.
There are some reports that say I was reading too much into this Tweet. If that's the case, I apologize. I am waiting to see it directly from Swagger personally, but I didn't intend to mislead anyone. I have changed the title of the post. Either way, I am fine with taking this opportunity to discuss his career and despite some issues he brought on himself I still feel he's been underutilized in WWE.
