Mattel WWE Elite Series 34

While I won't buy any of these I have to say this is a nice looking set.  If money were no object I would probably pick up several from this set, but as things are I have to show more restraint in purchasing things like this than I want.  I actually covered this one back in November.

Anyhow, here's the lineup for WWE Elite Series 34 and it's decent.  WrestlingFigs.com has packaged and loose pictures as well.
  • Bad News Barrett
  • Doink the Clown
  • Hulk Hogan
  • John Cena
  • Paige
  • Rusev
I need a Bad News Barrett at some point, but I think I may have missed the boat on at least one better one from Elite Series 24.  The Doink and Rusev figures look phenomenal, but they don't quite make the cut as figures I just have to have.  Modern-day, street clothes Hulk Hogan is a cool figure, but I'm not sure I'll pick up another one after his Defining Moments one which was kind of my thought process back when I first heard of this lineup and posted it in November.  Although we probably will have that one in my house because my son who went crazy over the Defining Moments Hulk Hogan thinks that the Elite 34 one is the one he wants to play with.  That will probably be a birthday present.  John Cena is a good-looking figure and I've toyed with the idea of picking up a Cena at some point, but I think that thought has passed.  I just don't like Cena enough to drop that kind of cash on a figure.  Paige is kind of in the same boat although I like Paige more than Cena.  It's a nice figure (maybe I should have said Paige has a nice figure which is accurate as well), but I just can't see buying that one.  The fact that she comes with two title belts is a really nice touch though.

Elite 34 is a decent looking series, but none of these figures are must-buys for me.  Not because they don't look great and all because they do.  There are really nice additions to the Elite line.  This series is mostly a pass for me though as I am very particular about which figures I add to my collection.  It is a 99% certainty that my son will get that Hogan though.
