Iron Bowl 2014

Over the Thanksgiving Break I had the opportunity to scratch two things off my bucket list.  Now me being a simple man you have to understand that my bucket list isn't too long or too complicated or even really too exciting.  I scratched one off when I went to WrestleMania 27 in Atlanta.  The two I knocked off this week are below.
  1. Attend an Iron Bowl
  2. Witness Alabama win an Iron Bowl
That's right, I was there for that completely off-the-rails Iron Bowl.  It was a tremendous experience and one I was very happy to be a part of along with 100,000+ of my best friends.  This right here is specifically for Norko and was part of our post-game celebration.

I should warn you that you may want to look away especially for the first 20 seconds or so as it's pretty shaky.  I was trying to capture the whole crowd, but didn't move the iPhone slow enough to avoid that.

Although I'm not always the biggest Rammer Jammer I am all for it when it involves the Auburn Tigers (Warm Beagle!).

Anyhow, it was a fantastic experience.  The atmosphere was amazing.  It was probably the greatest live event setting I've witnessed in person.  Other candidates would be Goldberg defeating Hollywood Hogan in the Georgia Dome for the WCW World Heavyweight Title and WrestleMania 27.

The trip home was something else.  We decided to press on and get back to Coweta County, Georgia which we did.  We rolled into town around 5:50AM or so and I got to my house around 6:30 AM.  Slept until 1:00 PM until I had to get up and go somewhere.  It was a great time though and worth the lack of sleep.

Roll Tide Roll!
