"Love Machine" Art Barr

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the passing of Art Barr. For those that do not know who he is, he's probably best known as the tag team partner in Eddie Guerrero in AAA as "Los Gringos Locos". This man, like Guerrero, Dean Malenko and others of their ilk was on track to make a reappearance in the US wrestling scene and probably would have make as much of a mark on the scene as the previously mentioned guys had. Unfortunately, he passed before he could've started his run in ECW with Guerrero. However, it was in ECW when Guerrero started using the frog splash as a tribute to his fallen tag-team partner. What's interesting to note, in the match I'm about to post, you'll see Barr's frog splash resembles more like D-Lo Brown's than Eddie's. The match I'm posting as a tribute to him, is the one he'll always be most known for, his 2 out of 3 falls Hair vs Mask match with him and Guerrero vs El Hijo del Santo and Octagon. Commentary is by Chris Cruise and Mike Tenay and is part of the AAA When World's Collide PPV show.
