I figure there's a really good chance that John Cena leaves Money in the Bank as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Since I'm beyond tired of John Cena that doesn't sound terribly exciting to me, but there's one obvious scenario that could warm me up to that idea.
Brock Lesnar returns and mauls John Cena at SummerSlam 2014. That would be awesome. It would give SummerSlam a main event with a true big fight feel. It would allow Lesnar to make a big time return to WWE and would be the only fitting way to have him return after conquering The Streak.
Many members of the IWC seem to have an issue with the "part-timers." I get why the boys in the back have an issue, but as a fan I don't get that at all. In my opinion we'd be better off if the audience got a bit of a break from all these top guys. Do you really think that a guy like me would be that sick of John Cena if we didn't see him every Monday night on RAW? We've talked about an off-season for wrestling which would probably be a good thing. I prefer a scenario where your top guys are kind of cycled out from time-to-time.
In order to do that you'd have to give the Bray Wyatt, Bad News Barrett, Roman Reigns, etc. of the world legitimate pushes to the top. You would need to get your top level as deep as possible, but I think you could accomplish this with a little patience and by getting away from the idea that certain guys just shouldn't lose.
Anyhow I'd love it if Roman Reigns walked out of Money in the Bank with the belts, but there's time for that. If Cena does I can live with it, but only if Lesnar is on the horizon.
