FFA: flickchart

Thanks to this recent thread on A1, I have been made aware of flickchart.  Flickchart is a site you can use to help rank the movies you have watched.  It has been really interesting to use this site to fine-tune my list of favorite movies.

The basic mechanics of the site are that you get a choice between two films.  At that point you can do one of the following things:
  • Vote for one movie or the other
  • Say that you haven't seen one or the other
  • Say that you haven't seen either
The site will then give you a new pairing after that.  This is how your list gets built.  Now I mentioned fine-tuning and there is a "re-rank" feature that allows you to vote a specific movie against several others from your list.  This will more quickly move that film to an appropriate spot on your list.

I have been a member for a day or so and I already have a list of 420 movies and have done 1,369 rankings.  The site is really interesting and is a fun time-waster.  I highly recommend it.

Here is my profile page if you'd like to see my list.
