Take Two acquiring WWE game license?

According to IGN the WWE video game license has been acquired by Take Two.
The era of THQ wrestling games is over. Sources have indicated to IGN that the WWE game franchise will be sold to Take Two, parent company of 2K. Terms of the sale are unknown at this time, as details have not been finalized. These negotiations appear to have taken place outside THQ's formal auction process.
As you may or may not know, THQ's assets were auctioned off today as part of their Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

What does this mean for the WWE series?  Far too early to tell, but the WWE Games (THQ) Facebook page just posted the following:
We don't have any details to share yet, but there WILL continue to be WWE Games. Stay tuned for more information and some exciting news!
Hopefully exciting news is the story of the day.  We will see.
