Per DOT NET, WWE will announce that their WrestleMania 28 PPV buyrate is lower than initially claimed. The number has been adjusted to 1.21 million buys as opposed to the initially reported number of 1.3 million.
We have discussed this on A1-Wrestling.com, but that is still a solid number. Some will call it a disappointment due to the Once in a Lifetime match between The Rock and John Cena. What I see is a PPV that went over 1 million buys and that is an impressive number. Yeah, you can always argue it should have done better and could have done more, but all-in-all I find it hard to be disappointed with a number like that.
